If you would like to see a church that combines an intelligent, progressive approach to Scripture, a playful/joyful approach to worship, a willingness to explore eclectic styles of spirituality and prayer, a compassion for the poor and a commitment to social justice, - a church that has the energy of a non-denominational church, but that is anchored in partnership with multiple historic Christian denominations in the DC area - EpicenterDC might be just what you have been looking for. You dont have to become a member to pitch in and help out. We welcome people from all walks of life and faith traditions to travel with us as we seek to follow Jesus with integrity, and to make a difference in our city. It will be several months yet before we even have 'members' per se. Right now we are just collecting friends who would like to see this church birthed - we are calling this group our Launch Team. Our launch team gathers regularly on Sunday evenings at 6.
